Shepherd's Pie

Could be made with beef, but then it would be "Cowboy's Pie" which just doesn't have the same ring

 ground lamb
 minced onion
 rosemary
 flour
 water
 mashed potatoes
 peas or corn (optional)
 grated carrot (optional)
 parmesan (optional)
 butter (optional)

Sauté ground lamb with minced onion and rosemary and grated carrot; add a little bit of flour and some water to make a sauce from the juices. Cook peas (or corn) until not quite done. Find leftover mashed potatoes or make some fresh.

In a greased casserole dish, layer the ground lamb on the bottom, the peas and parmesan (or corn - probably not corn and parmesan?) in the middle, and the mashed potatoes on top. Dot with butter.

Bake at 400°F until potatoes are golden brown on the edges and tips.
