Pecan Pie


1unbaked pie crust
1/2 cupbrown sugar
1Tbshortening
2eggs, beaten
2Tbflour
1/4 tspsalt
1tspalmond extract
1/2 tspvanilla
1cupdark corn syrup
1cuppecans (chopped in the pie, reserve 8-12 halves on the pie)

Cream the brown sugar with the shortening. Add the eggs, flour, salt, vanilla and almond extracts, and corn syrup to the butter mixture. Mix in the chopped pecans and pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.

Bake 30 minutes in a moderate oven.
