Jam BarsFrom Fanny Farmer (11ed)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8x8 pan. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and extracts. Add dry ingredients and mix into a soft dough. Press half the dough into the bottom of the pan. Spread the jam on top. Layer the rest of the dough on top of the jam. Bake for 25 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Let cool and cup into bars. |
