Honey-Glazed ChickenAunt Libby's recipe
Melt butter. Add poultry seasoning, honey, and mustard to make glaze. Place chicken in shallow pan (a 9x13 pyrex pan works very well) skin side down. Pour glaze over chicken and bake at 375°F and bake for 20 minutes. Baste pieces with glaze and bake for another 20 minutes. Turn pieces over and baste again, and then bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven. (Total cooking time: 1 hour) Excellent with mashed potatoes. If you make gravy from the leftover glaze and juices in the pan, it is absolutely outstanding. |
