Hamburger Soup

From The Best of Bridge cookbook


11/2 lbsground beef
1medium onion
28ozcanned tomatoes (1 can)
2cupswater
3cansconsommé
1cantomato soup
4carrots, chopped fine
1bay leaf
3sticks celery
 parsley
1/2 tspthyme

Brown meat and onions. Drain well. Combine all ingredients in large pot. Simmer covered, for at least two hours or up to all day. Serves 10.
