Granola

From Cookie + Kate's Healthy Granola Recipe


4cupsrolled oats
11/2cupnuts or seeds (or mix thereof)
1tspsalt
1/2tspcinnamon (or spices to taste)
1/2cupoil
1/2cupmaple syrup or honey
1tspvanilla

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix all ingredients well until all dry ingredients are lightly coated. Pour onto large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and spread evenly.

Bake 10-15, stir, press down for clumpy granola, bake 10-15 more minutes until lightly browned.

Let cool for 45 minutes to an hour, then break up. Stores well in airtight container for a few weeks.

You can add mix-ins like fruit (dried or fresh), chocolate chips, coconut, etc. when serving or before storing.
