Ginger BiscuitsPolly's Ginger Biscuits converted to American volume measures
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream the butter and sugars. Beat in egg and honey. Add flour, baking powder, and ground ginger stir until combined. The consistency should be a sticky dough. Mix in candied ginger. Shape into walnut sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Space widely; they spread. Bake 12-15 until golden brown with cracked tops. Should be a little gooey for soft cookies. Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. |
