Fizzy Jell-O®

The dessert that bites back


3/4 cupboiling water
1pkgJell-O® powdered gelatin (fruit flavor is best)
11/4 cupscold fizzy liquid (seltzer or ginger ale is preferred)

Add boiling water to Jell-O® or other flavored gelatin powder. Stir for at least 2 minutes. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Gently add fizzy liquid while stirring, being careful not to disrupt the bubbles too much. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.

This recipe is taken from the back of the Sparkling Jell-O® packaging before they discontinued it, but it seems to work fine with any flavored gelatin powder.

The finished gelatin should be fizzy when you eat it.
