Dan Fudge

No candy-making expertise required


18ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips (3 cups)
14ozsweetened condensed milk
11/2 tspvanilla

Melt chocolate chips with milk over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Spread in 9x11 pan and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

This fudge comes out perfectly every time, even for people who are completely incapable of making candy, who can't use a candy thermometer, and whose fudge is reliably either drippy or grainy. As close to foolproof as we could hope for.
