bread, cut into small squares
olive oil
garlic salt

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In large mixing bowl, drizzle enough olive oil over the bread cubes so that all the pieces of bread have at least a little oil on them. Sprinkle garlic salt over the bread to taste and toss to combine (for a large bowl, I find that three rounds of tossing/sprinkling is sufficient). Spread the bread on a cookie sheet in a single layer.

Bake the bread for 10-15 minutes, or until it starts getting golden brown. Let cool. If you eat them immediately (it will be tempting; they smell amazing) they will still be soft on the inside. If you let them sit until cool and then put them away, they will gradually crisp until they're crunchy all the way through.
