Bread and Butter Pudding

Comfort food; like french toast sitting on custard


2large eggs
1/3 cupsugar
1/2 tspsalt
1tspvanilla
3cupsmilk
2cupsvery stale bread cubes, with crusts on

Beat eggs with sugar, salt, vanilla, and milk. Soak bread in egg mixture in medium size casserole dish for roughly 30 minutes.

Bake at 325°F for about an hour or until golden brown on top.

Not sure about the quantity of bread in this recipe. It feels like it ought to have more bread. Experimentation required!
